Always has a great cake selection and does a decent cup of tea. A great target cafe for a bike ride, or a good place to stop by the canal.

LIz and Siobhan went above and beyond when my son left his phone behind. Made contact and put the phone promptly in the post. It's the people that make a place and this place is owned by a pair of very special kind and caring people. Thank you so much

Best place between Newbury and Reading for a coffee, cake and lunch. Fish finger sandwich is a personal favourite. Gorgeous atmosphere set by the canal with friendly staff and great food. Gets busy when the sun is out so we recommend heading over for late lunch just before 3pm if you can hold out. Tends to be a little quieter. Dog friendly with plenty of great walking routes nearby.

This is the first time that we have visited the Aldermaston Tea Rooms, and we enjoyed the food and the tea. We had egg mayo sandwiches on white bread, and the bread was very light. We then had a Cream Tea. The scones were very nice and light with plenty of cream and jam with a pot of tea for two and i hink we had 4 cups each out of the pot and the cost for this was 24 which we believed to be very reasonable. I can imagine that the tea rooms get very busy when the weather gets better but saying that it was busy today. There is a small carpark available which is free but there is a sign asking for a donation to the Kennet and Avon canal trust
